North American Breaker Co., Inc. (NABCO) has announced they will open their fourth distribution center on October 1st in Dallas Texas. The Dallas location will mark the opening of their third distribution facility within the last year. “Texas is already a huge market for us and we look forward to expanding upon our current customer base in the state.” National Sales Manager Tony Angel said today. “The ability to ship product overnight at no charge will be a huge benefit to our existing customers in that region and should give us a leg up on the competition for new business.”

Along with providing shorter transit times to most of the country, NABCO will be adding over 25,000 sq. ft. of brand new material to their inventory. With the addition of this south west distribution center, NABCO will now have over 85,000 sq. ft. of inventory in four locations across the country.

“Our ultimate goal is to service all parts of the country with next day standard ground shipping.” Angel remarked. “With the economy the way it is and freight costs soaring, we want to make next day delivery of quality material to our customers a standard of doing business.”

North American Breaker Co., Inc. is offering paperless, electronic billing to all customers interested in saving money and easing the burden of creating billions of wasted pages each year. In a move long overdue, NABCO is setting an industry precedent in moving towards electronic billing. Statistics show that annually businesses in the United States contribute to wasting $400 million tons of paper each year. It takes 17 full size pulp wood trees to produce one ton of paper. This means that 6.8 billion trees are needlessly cut down every year. If you put it into prospective, add to the immediate cost of the trees that are cut down, the cost of cutting the trees down and the cost of turning the wood in usable paper. The overall number is staggering and NABCO is trying to do their part and urge their customers to do the same. NABCO’s Pick your own Promotion concept has been a smashing success with over 2,000 customers casting votes for their favorite spring promotional ideas. In a move unheard of in their marketplace, NABCO’s marketing team asked their customers to help in deciding what their Spring promotion would be. The team chose 6 different options for potential items and told their customers to vote for their favorites. In the end, the customers spoke loudly that the camouflage duffel bag was their item of choice. The duffel bags will be given out with every order over $350 until May 1st. Long over are the days where vendors chose an item and told their customers to take it or leave it. Isn’t it great that a company has finally headed advice to actually listen to their customers?

In an effort to better service our customers, NABCO has just established an after hours emergency line where one of our salesmen can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you or your customer should run into a problem after hours or during the weekend, call our 800 number and follow the prompts for our after hours emergency contact. Fed Ex is capable of shipping on Saturdays and we have the ability to set up other forms of delivery under emergency conditions if need be. Starting Monday, February 2nd, the shipping cutoff for our New Jersey distribution center will be extended until 4pm EST. There have been numerous requests for extending the shipping cutoff and our management has worked hard to heed those requests. We appreciate everyone’s patience with this process.
